Östergravar. Welcome to experience the medieval society real close! Soldiers sign in for the coming battle. The kitchen cooks medieval foods . Musicians play forgotten songs. Craft techniques is taught so the important knowledge is not forgotten and lost. Visitors to the camp are greeted by a throng of authentic folklore. Entrance vx SEK 40, children 20 SEK. 12.00 Biblical reflections with Bastardus SaNs (Swedish)
Gotlandsänget. Sweden's most handsome jesters, the gentlemen in Bastardus Sans give you the answer on how it all began. Bible directly interpreted with help from the audience. We meet God on earth and his son Jesus Themakesrsson and get the story of The Beginning, where we meet Adam, (Eve??) & the devil. Improvisations, lying and fabrications. 13:00 Slaget vid Ringmuren (BATTLE by the City Wall)
Östergravar. Outside the city wall over 1800 Gotlanders lost their lives in battle against the Danish invaders led by Waldemar Atterdag. This is illustrated with a real battle between the overpowering enemy, and the Gotland army. You will see fierce battle in which hundreds of people are fighting each other with steel weapons. The soldiers are exposed to arrows while knights on horseback riding across the battlefield. History Professor Dick Harrison guides the audience through the events. A memorial service will be held in connection with the battle. Admission: Voluntary donation. Organiser: Battle of Wisby

S.t Lars ruin. Koenix is a young Swiss group who play loud, impulsive medieval music. With their bagpipes and drums they inspire the audience to lively dance. Entertaining anecdotes and stories from the past. Admission: Adult 120 Sek, students 100 Sek, children 40 Sek.

22:00 Eld Brinn i Natten (Fire burning in the night)
St Görans ruin, a beatiful Ruin, just outside the North part of the wall. Fireshow with the Jestergroup Pax. A performance of the plague, mysticism and the demon spirit. Fire mixed with acrobatics, music, dance and visits from the underworld. Please bring a blanket to sit on, and warm clothing.
Free admission, but please make a donation in the "hat".
