Next to the Galgberget lookout point, there is a gravel road north that serves as the entrance to the modern camping area. See map here
The festival camping for modern tents, caravans, and motorhomes is located on Galgberget. Here, it is lively and delightful both in the morning and in the evening. Tranquility sets in at midday when the sun is at its highest. There are 30,000 square meters to share, with good distances and opportunities to cook over an open fire (provided there is no fire ban).
On the site, there are basic facilities with toilets, a sink with cold water, a recycling station, and a reception. There is access to a few hot plates, microwaves, and kettles to facilitate dishwashing and cooking. There is a possibility to exchange cooling packs if you want to keep food in your own cooler. There is no possibility to bring electricity to individual tents. Showers are available in a school a 10-15 minute walk from the campsite. Caravans and Motorhomes
For caravans and motorhomes, you need to book a spot in advance. An additional fee applies for this, in addition to the price per person. There is also a limited number of electrical connections for caravans/motorhomes that can be purchased separately.
