IMPORTANT INFORMATION – CAMPING

Reception and Night Guards
Medieval Week places a strong emphasis on safety. There is a reception at the festival camping and one at the medieval camp. These will have extended hours on August 2-4 to accommodate arriving ferries. Detailed reception hours will be available soon.

Age Limit
You must be 16 years or older and have a written certificate from a guardian if you are under 18 and traveling alone or in a group without a guardian present.

  • Children and youth apply to ages 3-15 years.
  • Adults apply to ages 16 and older.
  • Children under 3 years stay for free.

Tent Size and Sunshade
The price per person applies regardless of how many people are in the tent (each person should have their own camping ticket). As long as there is space and you do not block fire lanes or hinder accessibility, it’s okay to have a screen roof/party tent next to your sleeping tent. This does not incur an extra cost.

Parking
Parking is available but not directly adjacent to the area. Vehicles cannot be parked next to the tent or caravan!

Pets
You can bring pets to the campsite, but always be responsible for your animal. Zero tolerance for aggressive behavior from pets applies, and you may be immediately evicted for any violation.

Terms and Order
Medieval Week has zero tolerance for violence or abuse, leading to immediate eviction from the area without prior warning. Authorities and the police will be contacted if necessary. There is always a responsible person on-site even when the reception is closed. Both at the festival camping and in the medieval camp, there may be noise from parties in the evenings and nights, as well as noise from early risers in the morning. Bring earplugs if needed!

Your safety is our focus
– help us maintain a pleasant and friendly atmosphere by treating each other with dignity, kindness, and equality. If you experience anything uncomfortable, do not hesitate to contact us. We are here for you.

Fire
The possibility of lighting fires depends on the general fire regulations on the specified date. It is extremely important to respect these conditions as the grounds are often very dry in August. For cooking near the tent, we recommend spirit stove. Exercise caution here as well.
