Everyone is welcome to take part in the world’s best Middle Ages!
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PASS DURING THE WEEK?

- Over 100 free programme events and experiences, where you can Swish a voluntary amount to the performer
- The grand opening show, several parades, and the fire show in Nordergravar with the jester troupe TRiX – all open to everyone
- Over 800 programme events, lectures, performances, and concerts at 40 venues, including Visby’s church ruins (tickets purchased separately)
- Open stages such as Forum Vulgaris, Sagoängen, the children’s stage Russtibus hage, the Viking combat area, Gycklar Änget, and the Fighting Arena (reserved-seat ticket may apply, or a voluntary Swish donation directly to the performer)

- Ten historical camps – featuring everything from Vikings and medieval life to soldiers and pirates
- Several medieval taverns in Visby

Stiftelsen Medeltidsveckan (The Medieval Week Foundation)

Medieval Week is fully owned by the Medieval Week Foundation on Gotland, a non-profit research foundation with an educational mission. Medieval Week is a coordinating festival, and every year tens of thousands of tickets are sold on behalf of the co-creators, who set their own ticket prices. Medieval Week charges an administrative fee per ticket sold, which helps cover parts of the costs for building stages, renting ruins, stage technology, audience management, and more for the programme events.
